Pura-Verde.com's Mission Statement

Costa Rica Yoga, sustainable business, health foods, art & culture, eco-tourism Welcome to Costa Rica, a world leader in progressive thinking about the environment and social issues. One of the few countries in the world without an army, Costa Rica's president is also a Nobel Peace Prize winner, and recently declared that Costa Rica will be the world first "carbon neutral" country. Costa Rica is one of the few countries in the world that is gaining more forest than losing, and Costa Rica is considered to be the world's leading eco-tourism and adventure tourism destination. Costa Rica is proving that being green pays - creating jobs and improving the lives of its citizens.

Do you believe in Democracy? Then consider this - Democracy means more than just voting at the ballot box. Every time you spend money, you vote for the type of world you want to live in. So vote with your dollars by supporting companies and individuals that engage in sustainable and ethical business practices. Big businesses control our governments more than any other force, and the power they fear most is consumer revolt, so use your buying power to vote for a greener future.

Costa Rica, with its high literacy rates, fairly even distribution of land, and focus on renewable energy sources, is preparing itself for a green future. Pura-Verde.com is working to help Costa Rica achieve these goals.
